We are looking for an creative self\-starter who wants to be on a high\-performing Human Resource team! We lead the HR efforts in fast\-paced ever\-changing environment. Primary Purpose:

The Human Resource Assistant is responsible for contributing to the day\-to\-day operations of the Human Resource Department functions and duties. The Human Resource Assistant carries out responsibilities in the following areas: communications, recruiting, employee relations, data entry and record keeping, social media and employee engagement/recognition.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day\-to\-day operations of the HR department
  • Assist with communications, HR documents and forms and coordinate social media
  • Assist in recruiting including confirming interviews, orientation, onboarding process
  • Support the maintenance of employee records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) (Kronos)
  • Help employees log in and navigate HRIS (Kronos)
  • Assist with employee relations and engagement, retention, recognition, training, and implementation of HR policies, practices, and procedures
  • Perform other job related duties as necessary and based on business needs
  • Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • HS diploma or equivalent GED required
  • Solid work history demonstrating administrative abilities and skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Data collection, data entry, and data management
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to present information to a group
  • Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a team environment and as a self\-starter
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be willing to successfully complete a pre\-employment background check
  • Must be willing to successfully complete a pre\-employment drug screen
  • Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in administrative and/or customer service
  • Experience with social media (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Experience with planning events
  • Work Conditions:

  • Work is typically performed under good conditions
  • Office setting within a manufacturing facility
  • Exposure to weather/elements when moving between buildings onsite
  • Safety shoes, safety glasses and/or hearing protection required where posted in the facilities
  • Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Scheduled hours may fluctuate depending upon workload
  • Overtime is offered, based on business needs
