Summary: The Operations Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the day\-to\-day operations of the Douglas County Chamber and Elevate Douglas Economic Partnership, ensuring a professional and welcoming front\-office experience while providing administrative and operational support to leadership, members, and partners. This role is ideal for a highly organized, service\-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast\-paced, mission\-driven, and collaborative environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Support
· Provide administrative support to leadership, including calendar coordination and email and phone communications.
· Support the preparation, organization, and distribution of materials for monthly Board of Directors meetings, including electronic communications, meeting minutes, and required public notices.
· Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive and confidential information.
Operations Management \& Support
· Serve as the primary front office contact, managing a high volume of in\-person, phone, and email interactions while ensuring a professional, welcoming, and positive experience for members, partners, and guests.
· Coordinate membership support and communication activities, including preparation of mailings, responding to inquiries, and ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
· Provide database support and updates to assist with member inquiries and internal reporting needs.
· Maintain conference room reservations and related agreements.
· Assist with data entry, proofreading, filing, and mailing production.
· Support meeting and event logistics, including room setup, breakdown, and ordering meals as needed.
· Support office maintenance requests under the guidance of leadership.
· Maintain, track, and order office supply inventory.
· Support the management of file organization and document retention, including board minutes, contracts, leases, and other legal or operational documents.
Membership Support \& Communication
· Support member onboarding processes for new members and investors.
· Assist with member retention activities and outreach efforts.
· Support logistics and coordination of the Ambassador program.
· Provide administrative support for member communications and engagement initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
· Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The successful candidate may come from a variety of professional backgrounds and should demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
· Preferred minimum of three years’ experience in a professional office or administrative environment.
· Highly organized and detail\-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain strong follow\-through.
· Service\-oriented and professional, with the ability to interact confidently and effectively with senior leaders, members, partners, and stakeholders.
· Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and support cross\-functional initiatives.
· Technology proficient, with experience using office productivity tools, databases, and content management systems (CMS), or a willingness to learn.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional business correspondence.
· Positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed.
