Data Entry Clerk (Entry-Level)

Job Summary Mar Vista Animal Medical Center is seeking a detail\-oriented and dependable Data Entry Clerk (Entry\-Level) to support daily administrative and record\-management activities. This role focuses on entering, reviewing, and maintaining accurate client, patient, and general office information. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable using computers, and able to maintain accuracy while handling routine administrative tasks in a busy veterinary environment. Key Responsibilities Enter and update client and patient information in internal systems Review records for accuracy, completeness, and missing information Update contact information and routine appointment details Organize electronic files and administrative documents Scan, upload, label, and maintain records as needed Transfer information from forms and documents into appropriate systems Assist with maintaining accurate veterinary and office records Identify basic data discrepancies and report them to the appropriate staff member Retrieve records for authorized team members when requested Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Entry\-level candidates are welcome to apply Previous data entry or office experience is helpful but not required Basic computer and keyboarding skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time\-management skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Work Environment This position works on\-site within an active veterinary medical center. The role primarily involves computer and clerical duties but may involve regular interaction with veterinary staff, clients, dogs, and cats.
