Hiring Agency Judicial \| Court of Justice Location Lincoln County Judicial Center 101 E Main Street Stanford, KY 40484 USA Description The Administrative Office of the Courts is the operational arm of the Judicial Branch. The court system employs nearly 3,300 personnel who support 406 elected justices, judges, and circuit court clerks. The Lincoln and Jessamine County Regional District Courts have an opening for a Chief Regional Judicial Support Specialist. The Chief Regional Judicial Support Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative, clerical and technical support to judges, court staff and the public, serving as a critical liaison to the courtroom. This includes managing case dockets, processing legal documents, supporting data analysis and related actions, recording proceedings, and maintenance of court activity and case information, entering or updating information in the case management system as locally assigned, and assisting with courtroom technology. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Complete JSS orientation and participate in annual training on e\-filing, issuing court orders, facilitating remote court proceedings, reviewing court action caseload data and adopting court technology. Prepare court orders electronically consistent with orders of the Supreme Court. Prepare correspondence and other materials for judges. Generate analytic reports, including court action caseload data, for judge review and required submittal. Assist with data correction requests. Proofread documents for accuracy. Serve as receptionist. Schedule all court appearances for judge. Compile and maintain computer calendar and printed copy of schedule. Compile and maintain list of proposed available dates for scheduling. Develop and maintain record\-keeping filing system for office. Operate various pieces of office equipment. Maintain office filing systems, including electronic systems.
