Position Summary Under the supervision of the Accessible Technology Analyst, this position provides support to students with disabilities in the use of assistive and accessible technologies. Responsibilities include delivering training, troubleshooting technology, assisting with alternative media (eText) services, managing equipment loans, and providing general administrative support. The role also assists in coordinating accessibility services and supporting student engagement with technology\-based accommodations. Key Responsibilities: Provide accessible technology training and support by demonstrating, training, and assisting students with the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of assistive and accessible technologies, as well as delivering individual and small group training sessions on accessible software and tools. Respond to student questions and provide appropriate guidance or referrals as needed. Assist in developing and implementing instructional materials in a variety of formats, including online and print, to support the use of accessible technologies. Manage equipment and inventory processes by tracking and coordinating equipment loans such as Smartpens and audio recorders, maintaining accurate records of inventory, loan, and return activity, and performing basic equipment maintenance. Deliver administrative support by scheduling student appointments with the Accessible Technology Analyst, responding to email and phone inquiries, processing general requests, and completing clerical tasks such as scanning, copying, filing, and document management, as well as assisting with communications and follow\-up inquiries. Support alternative media and CART services by assisting in the coordination and distribution of electronic and alternative media (eText), supporting conversion projects and workflows, helping with the setup and coordination of remote CART services, and assisting in overseeing and supporting student assistants involved in eText and CART services.
