Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, empathetic, and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Bethesda team on a per diem, as needed basis. In this onsite role, you will support clients undergoing ketamine and esketamine treatments, oversee day\-to\-day clinical operations, and provide supervision to a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule

Onsite:

  • Day shifts that fall within the 10am to 8pm time range
  • 8 hour shifts, but may expand to 10 hour shifts once the site hours expand
  • Key Responsibilities

    Onsite Duties:

  • Manage daily clinical flow and team coordination
  • Assign patients to clinicians and support staff
  • Make clinical decisions regarding minor medical concerns (e.g., nausea, hypertension)
  • Determine PRN medication needs and ketamine dosing in collaboration with the medical team
  • Administer intramuscular injections and observe esketamine treatments
  • Liaise with the Office Manager to ensure safe staffing and operations
  • Foster a collegial, warm, and supportive clinical environment
  • Deliver ketamine treatments and provide patient\-centered care
  • Support real\-time decisions around patient care plans
  • Conduct medical necessity intakes for prospective patients
  • Follow up on existing patient care (e.g., collect MADRS scores, communicate with external providers)
  • Make determinations around ongoing course of care
  • Collaborate with and report to on\-site MDs
  • Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or completion of PA program with psychiatric experience
  • Current certification and unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA in Maryland
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA registration for controlled substances
  • Significant psychiatric experience preferred, including familiarity with personality disorders
  • Prior experience in clinical leadership or team\-based environments
  • Comfort discussing psychedelic treatments and related frameworks
  • Excellent clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Experience with ketamine or esketamine a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency in EMR and virtual care platforms

    * Pay: $85\.00\-95\.00/hour

    * Schedule: Per diem, no guaranteed hours
