In this role, you will manage moderately scoped projects and processes, as well as conduct engineering tests to diagnose and resolve Radar system anomalies (such as REX, BSG, and Antenna/Sub‑Array/TRIMM issues).
You will deliver weekly updates on engineering activities and maintain a Radar performance notebook that captures data including El Ops runs, satellite tracks, IMU measurements, and radar calibration results. These notebook entries will be submitted to the Missile Defense Center (MDC) in Woburn, MA for performance monitoring, data analysis, and regression testing.
This unaccompanied onsite role will be in an undisclosed location for a long\-term assignment under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with potential extensions.
Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments including comprehensive post\-offer medical examination.

- Maintain overall Radar system health and status, including the execution of radar missions.
- Oversee Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation through closure and perform regression testing as required.
- Plan and execute mission tests, develop new mission profiles, load them into the Radar system, and perform validation activities.
- Provide engineering support for both hardware and software configuration management.
- Define and execute data collection, reduction, and analysis requirements and procedures for Radar system performance.
- Evaluate the technical accuracy and content of the FBX‑T System Operator’s Manual (TM FBX‑T‑10‑1\) and recommend updates as necessary.
- Review and assess the AN/TPY‑2 Radar Set‑Up and Test Plan and the Radar Environment, Health \& Safety Plan, offering recommendations for improvement.
- Assess the effectiveness of the Radar system’s planned maintenance program and identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Communicate system status to the end user and coordinate calibration and maintenance activities as required.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8\+ years of prior engineering experience.
- Active CompTIA Security\+ Certification or obtain certification within 60 days.
- Experience operating AN/TPY‑2 Radars and performing engineering tests to diagnose and resolve Radar system anomalies (including REX, BSG, and Antenna/Sub‑Array/TRIMM issues).
- Demonstrated experience managing moderately scoped projects and technical processes.
- Proficient working in UNIX and/or MATLAB environments.
- Background in software and systems integration planning and execution.
- Skilled in coaching, reviewing, and delegating tasks to team members to ensure effective performance.
