Location: Designated sites/ HQ Los Angeles/ HQ SGV Covina

Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday; 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8 paid hours, lunch break included)

Hourly: $28\.00 \- $34\.65 hourly

What We Do:

Woodcraft Rangers provides TK\-12 expanded learning programs, including before and after school, specialty enrichment, and summer learning. In the past few years, Woodcraft has expanded its menu of services beyond traditional afterschool programs and summer camps to include early learning, environmental and social justice, college access, and inclusion services for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, we offer Lifecraft, a college and career advancement program to support the development of approximately 1,000 staff. Today, Woodcraft Rangers serves more than 20,000 youth ages 4\-18 annually in and from 110\+ Title I schools across LA County!

As an Integration Quality Assurance Specialist, you partner closely with the Integration Manager and Associate Director, alongside program leadership, to support seamless launches and consistent program quality across sites.   • Role Overview:

    The Integration Quality Assurance Specialist supports the successful launch and early implementation of expanded learning programs by ensuring quality, consistency, and readiness across all new sites. Working in close partnership with the Integration Manager and Associate Director, this role focuses on monitoring program execution, identifying gaps, and providing actionable feedback to strengthen program delivery during the launch phase. This role serves as a key office\-to\-field\-based partner, ensuring that programs are aligned with organizational standards, compliant with requirements, and set up for long\-term success prior to transition to Program Management teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Observation and Reporting: Conduct site visits during launch to assess program quality, readiness, and adherence to organizational standards. Observes, documents, and provides clear, actionable feedback to support continuous improvement across sites.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Partner with the Integration Manager to identify and address implementation gaps, ensuring smooth and high\-quality program rollouts.
  • Launch Prep and Development: Support the development and alignment of program component schedules (e.g., fitness/recreation, homework support, and club time), ensuring balanced and effective daily programming. Assist with budget planning by helping to develop spending plans, submit requests on time, and monitor budgets in alignment with program needs. Ensure program spaces are set up for success, including materials, supplies, and staff readiness to effectively facilitate activities and club sessions.
  • Staff Training and Support: Reinforce training, onboarding, and operational expectations with site teams to support strong program execution.
  • Quality Improvement: Supports quality assurance processes by ensuring compliance, maintaining documentation, and aligning with program expectations.
  • Liaison to Programs Teams: Communicate real\-time insights from the field to inform decision\-making and strengthen launch strategies. Help ensure programs are fully prepared for a seamless transition to ongoing Program Management teams, including schedule alignment and operational readiness.
  • Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing or supervising a high\-performing team.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience leading a team and/or group of youth in a school or recreational setting (or completion of 6 units in Child Development).
  • Experience supporting program implementation, quality assurance, or site\-level operations.
  • Familiarity with program budgets, spending plans, or basic fiscal tracking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use a smartphone for work\-related tasks (wifi/cell stipend provided).
  • Demonstrated experience working with ethnically and culturally diverse communities, with an understanding of the needs of high\-need communities in Los Angeles and familiarity with youth development principles.
  • Familiarity with relevant policies and compliance expectations.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required clearances and certifications (Live Scan, TB Clearance, CPR/First Aid).

  • Physical Demands:

  • The ability to travel across the greater Los Angeles area several times a month, using either a car, or public transportation, is necessary several times a month.

  • Travel is necessary to various regions where Woodcraft Rangers programs are implemented, including San Fernando Valley, South Los Angeles, West Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley, Southeast LA, and Downtown areas, to support or deliver in\-person training.
