Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)/Veterinary Receptionist
Full\-time \| 4x10 schedule \| Rotating Saturdays

About You
You’re a warm, detail\-oriented Client Service Representative (CSR) who enjoys helping pets and their people. You’re confident at the front desk—answering multi\-line phones, scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, processing payments, and coordinating closely with the medical team in a fast\-paced hospital.
Your Experience \& Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1\+ years of customer service, reception, or front desk experience (veterinary/medical preferred)
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills in a fast\-paced environment
- Comfortable on multi\-line phones, appointment scheduling, and client check\-in/check\-out
- Accurate payment processing and cash handling
- Comfort using computers, tablets, email, and Microsoft Office; able to learn practice management software
- Empathetic listener with strong problem\-solving and de\-escalation skills
- Comfortable working around animals and assisting with safe patient flow as needed
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance and more than 40 pounds with assistance, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work on your feet and stay on task for the full shift (up to 10\+ hours)
- Preferred: Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
- Preferred: Ability to type 45 words per minute and use a 10\-key adding machine
- Greet clients and patients, check them in/out, and maintain a calm, welcoming front\-desk experience
- Answer multi\-line phones, triage and route calls/messages, and document client communication accurately
- Schedule appointments and communicate instructions, wait times, and updates with empathy and professionalism
- Verify and update client/patient information to support efficient appointment flow and accurate records
- Coordinate closely with technicians and doctors to ensure client needs, messages, and follow\-ups are communicated clearly
- Process payments accurately (including cash handling) and assist with estimates/invoices as needed
- Maintain an organized lobby and front\-desk area; support readiness of client\-facing spaces
