### Position Summary:
The Event Coordinator provides essential operational support for events, ensuring smooth planning and execution. This includes assisting with meetings, handling administrative tasks, performing research, and supporting communication needs. The role also involves planning and executing company\-wide and learner events, as well as coordinating related travel.
### Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing company\-wide and learner events in collaboration with the Manager, Event Management.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and manage event logistics.
- Provide administrative support: filing, managing records, preparing correspondence.
- Research and book venues, vendors, and travel as needed.
- Serve as backup receptionist: answer phones, direct calls, and take messages.
- Prepare, print, copy, and assemble materials for events and meetings.
- Support additional projects or tasks, as assigned.
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage timelines and coordinate cross\-functional teams
- Experience working with CRM systems and virtual event platforms is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time\-management skills.
- Knowledge of customer service principles, including needs assessment, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with administrative systems such as filing, record keeping, and office procedures.
- Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.
### Qualifications and Education Requirements:
*All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will cover travel, lodging, and other accommodations.*
