This is a high\-trust, high\-responsibility role. If you are resourceful, discreet, and thrive on solving problems before they become headaches, keep reading.
About the Role
Lowe Law: The Insurance Outlaw is a high\-volume plaintiff personal injury firm in Houston, TX. Our Managing Attorney moves fast and operates at a high level. This role exists to protect his personal time and ensure that everything outside the firm gets handled with the same urgency and attention to detail he brings to his work.
A portion of your time will be spent at our law office in Houston. The rest will be spent in the field — at his home, running errands, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and handling whatever the day requires. No two days will look exactly the same. The right person for this role is adaptable, trustworthy, and takes ownership of every task from start to finish.
This is not a remote role. This is not a part\-time role. This is a full\-time, in\-person commitment that requires someone who is available, responsive, and ready to move when needed.
What You Will Do
Day\-to\-day responsibilities will vary but consistently include:
- Manage the Managing Attorney’s personal calendar; schedule and confirm all personal appointments, contractor visits, service calls, and reservations
- Coordinate and manage all personal travel — flights, hotels, ground transportation, itinerary updates, and rebooking as needed
- Run personal errands including shopping, pickups, drop\-offs, returns, and any task that requires a physical presence
- Serve as a driver for the Managing Attorney when needed
- Manage personal vehicle logistics — coordinate service appointments, towing, repairs, registration, insurance, and any issues that arise
- Coordinate home and property matters — schedule and supervise contractors, communicate with service providers, and ensure follow\-through on all home\-related tasks
- Handle insurance claims and warranty follow\-ups on personal property — make calls, track progress, gather documentation, and follow through to resolution
- Manage vendor and service provider relationships — schedule, confirm, follow up, and escalate when needed
- Track and follow up on outstanding refunds, returns, billing disputes, and financial follow\-up items on behalf of the Managing Attorney
- Handle highly confidential personal and financial items including credit and debit cards, account information, and sensitive personal documents — with absolute discretion
- Assist with content capture at firm events and community appearances as directed — filming, photography, and basic coordination with the marketing team
- Monitor the Managing Attorney’s personal social media platforms; flag comments, DMs, and items that need attention
- Spend scheduled time in the law office supporting the Managing Attorney with in\-person needs
- Prepare a daily and weekly brief — what is coming, what needs a decision, and what needs to be acted on
- Research vendors, services, products, and options as directed and present clear recommendations
- Other duties as assigned by the Managing Attorney
- Houston local — you live here, you know the city, and you can be physically present without exception
- Valid Texas driver’s license, a reliable personal vehicle in good condition, and a clean driving record
- Personal auto insurance that meets minimum coverage requirements
- Highly organized and detail\-oriented — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
- Proactive problem\-solver — you anticipate needs, find solutions, and report back with results, not just status updates
- Trustworthy and discreet above all else — you will have access to the Managing Attorney’s home, vehicles, personal accounts, cards, and confidential information; integrity is the baseline requirement for this role
- Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, high\-expectation environment where priorities can shift quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication — you represent the Managing Attorney when you make calls and send messages on his behalf
- Tech\-comfortable — Microsoft 365, password manager, scheduling tools, and major social platforms
- Prior experience in a personal assistant, executive assistant, or household management role strongly preferred
- $25\.00–$27\.00 per hour based on experience
- Full\-time hours
- Mileage reimbursement at the IRS standard rate for all work\-related driving
- Long\-term role with a growing firm — stability and room to grow
