Student Success Resource Center Library Coordinator
Position Description:
Assist with the operation of the Student Success Resource Center within the Stephen H. Fletcher Library. Provide light and sound technical support to the Granum Theatre, Park Arena and Besser Technical Center Commons for special events and College productions.

Full\-time, 12 Month, 37\.5 hours per week. Flexible/Alternative Schedule, Evenings/Saturdays may be expected, distribution of hours based on institutional need and funding availability. Annual Hours: 1950

Position Responsibilities:

- Assist with the management of materials for the library and audio\-visual collections, as well as any specialized collections.
- Under the direction of the Dean of Students, place orders, receive materials, prepare items for circulation, and support collection review/weeding by compiling lists and pulling items for evaluation. Selections of materials is to be done with direct and indirect faculty and student input and to be consistent with the needs of the college programs.
- Compile and develop statistical data, pathfinders, bibliographies and readings lists as directed.
- Process interlibrary loan requests; perform database/catalog searches to fulfill requests; complete library catalog data entry and routine clerical tasks (word processing, forms, reports and data entry).
- Provide directional assistance and basic reference support to students, faculty, and staff (in\-person and remote), including help using the catalog, databases, and library services.
- Assist library patrons in a group setting and one\-to\-one in searching for information, using library tools and equipment and circulation.
- Assist with the selection, distribution and storage of equipment.
- Assist in the training and supervision of student workers.
- Organize and maintain manual and computer filing, sorting, weeding and updating of Student Success Resource Center files, shelves, records, etc.
- Instruct faculty on the applications and uses of multimedia instructional and production equipment (includes smart rooms/carts).
- Provide AV services to on and off campus instructional locations, campus student activity groups and ACC affiliates.
- Operate soundboard, light board and other performance systems.
- Adjust lighting fixtures and modify lighting schemes for events, as needed.
- Set\-up microphones, podiums and monitors for a variety of events.
- Set\-up presentation software.
- Ensure that instructors and administrators are provided with equipment operators, if needed.
- Keep library circulation records and other data that will be required for annual reports, the Higher Learning Commission and other reports and surveys.
- Assists with creation of library promotional materials.
- Stay effective in the operation of new and current library search tools and operations.
- Presence on the job is an employee’s fundamental obligation. Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is required.
