At Medplus Solutions, we are seeking a Product Access Specialist to provide direct support to ourCommercial Excellence Team.
Why this role is different:
Most specialty pharmacy jobs put you behind a desk filling prior authorizations all day. This role puts you in the field — building relationships with physician offices, educating healthcare providers, and making a real impact on patient access to life\-changing rare disease therapy.
You're not just processing paperwork. You're removing barriers that stand between patients and their treatment.
What You’ll Do:
As our Product Access Specialist, you'll be the bridge between patients, physicians, and payers — ensuring patients get their therapy fast, with zero hassle.
Your Day\-to\-Day:
* Field Visits to Physician Offices — Be the face of Medplus. Educate HCPs on access pathways, reimbursement processes, and documentation requirements to reduce admin burden.
* Patient Navigation \& Advocacy — Guide patients through insurance coverage, prior authorizations, copay assistance programs, and financial aid. You're their champion.
* Prior Authorization Management — Own cases end\-to\-end from enrollment to dispensation. Coordinate with payers, gather documentation, and resolve barriers in real\-time.
* Bridge \& Patient Assistance Programs — Manage transitions from temporary access (Quick Start/Bridge) to long\-term commercial or Medicaid coverage.
* Collaborate Across Teams — Work closely with our pharmacy operations, sales, and clinical teams to optimize patient flow and access speed.
* Track \& Report KPIs — Monitor conversion rates, time\-to\-therapy, and access barriers. Identify trends and recommend process improvements.
