Job Description

We are a growing fence and gate company operating across multiple states, handling repair and installation work through national partners. As our workload continues to expand, we are looking for a detail\-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator to help build and organize our internal systems.

This role is not just administrative—it involves creating structure, improving workflows, and helping streamline how jobs are tracked, documented, and invoiced. You will work directly with the owner to turn current processes into scalable systems that can support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a centralized job tracking system (Google Sheets or similar)
  • Organize and track work orders from assignment through completion and payment
  • Assist in structuring and improving invoicing processes
  • Manage job documentation (photos, completion notes, required uploads)
  • Help define and standardize workflows (job lifecycle, status tracking, etc.)
  • Create simple SOPs (standard operating procedures) from existing processes
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Communicate with the owner to clarify processes and ensure accuracy
  • Qualifications

  • Previous experience in operations, project coordination, or administrative management
  • Experience working with construction, field service, or home services companies strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and problem\-solving skills
  • Ability to take loosely defined processes and create structure
  • Comfortable working with tools like Google Sheets, Excel, and cloud file systems
  • Self\-starter who can work independently and make decisions
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Preferred (but not required)

  • Experience with job management systems (Jobber, ServiceTitan, etc.)
  • Experience with invoicing and contractor workflows
  • Familiarity with multi\-location or multi\-state operations
  • Compensation

    $20–$35 per hour depending on experience

Additional Notes

Job Type: Part\-time

Pay: $25\.00 \- $37\.71 per hour
