Embracing Wellness PLLC is a trauma\-informed, holistic small group practice serving clients across DC, Maryland, and Virginia. We specialize in culturally responsive mental health care with a focus on supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA\+, immigrant, and marginalized communities.

Role Description

This is a full or part\-time remote role for a Therapist at Embracing Wellness PLLC. The therapist will :

• Provide high\-quality, trauma\-informed virtual psychotherapy.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in SimplePractice (EHR).
• Use standardized measures to track client progress as clinically indicated.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and case consultation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, PCPs, and community providers.
• Contribute to practice\-wide quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active licensure in DC, MD, and/or VA.
• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology.
• Trauma\-informed, strengths\-based, and culturally responsive.
• Experience with BIPOC, immigrant, LGBTQIA\+ communities preferred.
• Comfortable with telehealth \& technology.
• Demonstrated history of strong professional accountability, punctuality, and respect for scheduling commitments.
• Capacity for autonomous, professional judgment, and predictable communication under pressure.
• Committed to ethical, anti\-oppressive care.
• Successful background \& reference check required.

• Competitive hourly pay (starting at $50/hr for pre\-licensed).
