Schedule: Monday\-Friday 9:00am\-5:00pm (flexible upon further discussion)

Salary: hourly at $19\-$21/hour depending on experience

Cole Health is hiring a Biller / Insurance Specialist to support our growing Financial Services team. If you have experience in medical billing, insurance verification, and revenue cycle management, and enjoy working in a fast\-paced, mission\-driven healthcare environment—this could be the perfect fit.

In this role, you’ll help ensure accurate claims processing, support patients and families with billing questions, and play a key part in maintaining a healthy revenue cycle.

### Key Responsibilities

#### Insurance Verification \& Patient Support

• Verify
commercial and Medicaid insurance benefits and document accurately in EMR systems
• Communicate coverage, benefits, and balances clearly with patients and caregivers
• Respond to billing and insurance inquiries with professionalism and empathy
• Review and audit accounts to ensure accurate balances
• Generate patient statements, manage payment plans, and support collections
• Participate in daily team huddles and track intake metrics
• Maintain
HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times

#### Billing \& Claims Management

• Submit
clean claims (electronic and paper) to insurance carriers
• Troubleshoot and resolve
billing errors, denials, and clearinghouse issues
• Review accounts and recommend follow\-up actions to leadership
• Update patient data, insurance details, coding, and account information in
EMR/Raintree systems
• Reconcile billing data between systems to ensure accuracy

### What You Bring

• 2\+ years of experience in
medical billing, insurance verification, or revenue cycle
• Strong understanding of
commercial insurance and Medicaid
• Confident speaking on the phone with caregivers
• Experience with EMR systems (Raintree preferred)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem\-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment
