Full Stack Developer

Livetech is seeking a full\-stack developer for a focused 3\-month position beginning in Q2 2026\. This temporary job opportunity will require close to 40 hours per week and no employee benefits are provided to temporary employees. This role will primarily involve building out new functionality for our flagship event management software, built using Laravel, VueJS, AG Grid, alongside an iPad application built using VueJS and Cordova, with some Rive sprinkled in for flavor.

Our ideal candidate is comfortable working in a small team, attentive and self\-sufficient, but also communicative and cooperative. You’ll work in concert with our other developers, our designers, our internal stakeholders, and our clients.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Shepherd our Event Management software through a new project, expanding its functionality to allow for secure, seamless third\-party usage, and admin\-blind guest registration and check\-in
• Work with our team to turn vague client requests and business rules into spec
• Take Figma designs and written specifications and implement them as new features in our Laravel \+ VueJS codebases
• Work alongside the dev team to correct existing bugs, perform maintenance tasks, refactor code, and implement new functionality
• Be available on Slack for ad\-hoc firefighting or consultation on related work
• Own the user experience of the software, looking for opportunities for improvement and challenging the team to reexamine existing assumptions
• Ensure the smooth functionality of shipped features in production

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 years full\-stack web development experience
• Expert knowledge of building and maintaining application front\-ends with VueJS, HTML, CSS/SCSS/SASS, and JS
• Expert knowledge of building and maintaining application back\-ends with Laravel, PHP, MongoDB, and MySQL
• Ability to turn Figma files into user\-friendly, accessible, responsive UIs
• Discerning ability to use and supervise AI when it makes sense; willingness to be responsible for every line of code in your PRs.
• Familiarity with Dusk, Cypress, or similar E2E testing framework
• A talent for executing on spoken and written spec \& feedback from a variety of sources \- designers, other devs, and even complete luddites \- and with a variety of technical precision
• An understanding of UX and development best practices, and the ability to advocate for them diplomatically in conversations with the team and with clients
• Experience with Git and GitHub

Pay: $55\.00 \- $65\.00 per hour
