Job Title: Director of Production

Roles \& Responsibilities
Another A Story is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Director to lead our production team and
oversee the execution of projects nationwide. This role will manage a team of producers, production coordinators,
and event assistants, while partnering closely with clients to deliver seamless, high\-impact experiential campaigns
that consistently exceed expectations.
The ideal candidate brings a strong ability to bridge creative vision with technical execution and fabrication—
ensuring ideas are not only innovative but expertly built and flawlessly brought to life.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a strategic production roadmap aligned with Another A Story's objectives and client
- Build methods, fabrication approach, vendor strategy, profitability, and execution quality.
- Report to US VP Client \+ Business
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of producers, production coordinators, event assistants and freelancers,
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to nurture talent and maximize
- Act as a senior production lead in key client conversations.
- Build confidence with clients around execution strategy, technical approach, risk management and delivery.
- Present production plans clearly and credibly.
- Handle high\-pressure conversation when timeline, budgets, or scope need to be reset.
- Oversee the end\-to\-end production process, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring projects are
- Coordinate with cross\-functional teams including creative, finance, and operations to seamlessly integrate
- Lead as Executive Producer on the agency’s largest, most complex or highest\-profile projects as required.
- Implement rigorous quality assurance measures to uphold another a story's reputation for excellence,
- Make sure production solutions are commercially sound, not only creatively exciting.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Optimize resource utilization and budget allocation to ensure maximum efficiency and cost\-effectiveness.
- Ensure proper staffing and production structure.
- Continuously source and cultivate relationships with top\-tier venues, fabrication partners, A/V providers, and
- Identify potential risks and challenges throughout the production process and develop proactive mitigation
- Maintain a keen focus on risk assessment, contingency planning, and problem resolution to minimize
- Protect margins, challenge underbudgeted scopes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to establish project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure adherence
- Monitor project profitability, identify opportunities for cost savings, and drive continuous improvement in
- Foster strong collaboration and communication across internal teams, external partners, and clients to
- Act as a liaison between creative, production, and client\-facing teams, ensuring alignment on project
- Lead by example in promoting a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and learning within the
- Encourage feedback, experimentation, and knowledge sharing to drive growth, efficiency, and excellence in
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as event management, production, or business administration
- Deep knowledge of scenic fabrication methods, materials and construction approaches. Ability to review
- Demonstrated leadership experience for a minimum of 5 years, including managing teams, budgets, and
- Strong strategic planning and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to think critically, adapt to change, and
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft office suite
- Flexibility to travel as needed and work in different time zones to accommodate client needs.
- This is an office\-based role requiring 4 days in the office and 1 day from home during probation, moving to 3
