Summary
Under the direction of the department manager and supervision of a Charge Nurse/Team Lead, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Develops and participates in the care plan of the patient.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current and unencumbered licensure or Interim Permit as a Registered Nurse (RN) through the Nevada State Board of Nursing
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Desire to work within a comprehensive healthcare team.
- Demonstrates a knowledge base related to the following through previous evaluations and education documentation:
- + Collection and processing of data related to physiological and psychosocial needs of non\-critical and critical status patients.
- Basic level computer skills required for:
- + Accessing and navigating Carson Tahoe Health (CTH) intranet for forms, policies and procedures.
