WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M\-F, 7:00am to 3:30pm
United Anesthesia Services, P.C. (UAS) offers an exceptional opportunity for a talented Provider Scheduler to assist with administrative/provider support needs and facilitate quarterly and day\-to\-day staffing to ensure operations in the Abington Division are running efficiently. Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, the Provider Scheduler will be responsible for executing key administrative functions\-including provider quarterly and daily scheduling, compliance, quality assurance, and general operations to support Abington Division\-as well as maintain relationships with clinical providers and partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS:
1\. Schedule Management:
Create and manage the quarterly schedule of anesthesia providers in Amion within Abington Division, working in conjunction with Lead CRNAs, Practice Manager and schedule runners at the division sites.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and their Lead CRNAs to optimize room utilization and scheduling efficiency.
- Provide daily coordination/communication working in conjunction with the Lead CRNAs and Chiefs of Anesthesia at their respective sites to communicate evolving staffing needs.
- Maintain all updates in Amion and Paycom and work collaboratively with the Abington Division admin team to ensure schedules are accurately correlated in Paycom for payroll purposes.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance policies and procedures in accordance with UAS and Abington’s contract standards.
- Conduct assessments/reconciliations when needed to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Work closely with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, SRNAs, and administrative staff and key personnel at partner sites to ensure smooth operations and employee engagement.
- Be the liaison between the clinical contracted sites and the corporate office and maintain transparent communication about service delivery.
- Serve as a point of contact for concerns and scheduling\-related issues.
- Develop working knowledge of payroll systems and process in Paycom to provide support and ensure continuity of operations.
- Collaborate with Payroll Support Specialist to validate schedule\-to\-payroll accuracy and assist with payroll\-related audits or reconciliations as needed.
- Serve as a secondary resource for payroll processing to build redundancy and minimize operational disruptions.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices in scheduling and quality assurance.
- Monitor and track daily room utilization, ensuring operational/scheduling efficiency and maximizing revenue generation

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Position is in a well\-lighted corporate office environment with part time spent on site at clinical campuses. Partial remote work is available once fully trained. Work may be stressful due to continual interaction with others. Involves sitting approximately 75 percent of the day, walking, or standing the remainder. Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks including walking, bending, standing, reaching, and sitting. Performs complex, occasionally challenging varied tasks requiring problem solving, independent knowledge and exercise of independent judgment.

EDUCATION. Bachelor's degree required.
EXPERIENCE. 2\-3 years’ experience in clinical setting operations with proven competency in effective communication and organization; experience with medical practice scheduling and credentialing highly desirable.
