Position Overview

We are looking for a detail\-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our Project Managers in executing commercial construction projects across the country.

This role is ideal for someone early in their construction management career who wants hands\-on exposure to multi\-site, fast\-paced projects and a clear path to becoming a Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with day\-to\-day project coordination
  • Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries
  • Track project costs, invoices, and change orders
  • Help prepare and maintain project reports and client updates
  • Assist with permitting, submittals, and closeout documentation
  • Maintain organized project files in systems such as Procore
  • Communicate with field teams to track progress and resolve issues
  • Ensure timelines and deliverables stay on track
  • Qualifications

  • 1–3\+ years of experience in construction or project coordination (internships included)
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction software (Procore a plus)
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a project management career path
