- Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Prior experience in home health, acute care, inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, or skilled nursing facilities is preferred a plus.
- Ability to assist with ADLs effectively and compassionately across different healthcare environments.
- Strong communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Familiarity with care plans development and implementation tailored to individual patient needs.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast\-paced healthcare settings. This role is vital for supporting patient recovery journeys through skilled therapy interventions while fostering independence and improving overall well\-being.
- Results\-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem\-solving skills
- At least one (1\+) year's clinical experience
- Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures
- Demonstrates competency in the provision of care according to established standards
- Effective organizational and time management skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
Job Expectations and Responsibilities:
1\. Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
2\. Support patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promoting independence and functional mobility.
3\. Provide therapeutic interventions in various settings such as acute care, outpatient clinics, and skilled nursing facilities.
4\. Help patients regain or improve motor skills, coordination, and cognitive functions through targeted exercises and activities.
5\. Monitor patient progress and document responses to therapy interventions accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
6\. Educate patients and their families on exercises and strategies to maintain progress outside of therapy sessions.
7\. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.
8\. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
