Personal Assistant to Law Firm Owner
We are seeking a dedicated, highly organized, and proactive Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the owner of a high\-volume law firm. This role involves a blend of personal and professional responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail\-oriented, and thrives in a fast\-paced environment. This position requires someone who can anticipate needs, take initiative, and handle a wide range of tasks with discretion and efficiency. A love for dogs—especially highly active and energetic breeds—is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize daily schedules, appointments, and meetings
- Handle email correspondence and prioritize tasks effectively
- Conduct house and office visits as needed
- Run personal and professional errands throughout the city
- Purchase, restock, and maintain household supplies and essentials
- Perform light household organization and upkeep
- Assist with care of employer’s dogs, including:
- \-Coordinating and transporting to grooming and training appointments
- \-Walking and engaging with dogs regularly
- Make travel arrangements, reservations, and bookings
- Coordinate and communicate with vendors, staff, and other contacts
- Assist with administrative tasks and general household support
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role
- Comfortable handling and caring for highly active and energetic dogs
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency with calendar management tools and office software
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong problem\-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Fast learner who thrives in a dynamic, fast\-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Outlook, and Google Workspace
- Inquisitive mindset with a proactive approach to tasks
- Genuine love for animals, especially dogs
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
