Editorial Assistant

Reporting to the director of publication services, the administrative/editorial assistant helps to coordinate office administration and assists in producing the AEA’s bibliographic database, EconLit, which is used widely in academic libraries around the world.
This is an entry\-level, on\-site position. One day a week work\-from\-home is permitted at this time.

This is an on\-site position in Pittsburgh, PA. Only those currently residing in or moving to Pittsburgh should apply.
Responsibilities
- Processing books or journals for inclusion in the database.
- Data entry.
- Proofreading.
- Reconciling monthly bills and credit card statements.
- Administering healthcare signup/termination for new or departing employees.
- Contacting publishers to obtain materials needed for database entry.
- Logging production status.
- Other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree completed or working toward bachelor's
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent grammar and organizational skills
- Foreign language study, a plus
