Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure financial integrity.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and account analysis to verify data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including budgeting summaries and financial statement writing aligned with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Support payroll processing and tax\-related activities to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry (including 10 key typing), Helping generate Excel spreadsheets, tracking invoices.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation for audit readiness.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles within corporate and small business environments.
- Familiarity with popular accounting software such as QuickBooks is non\-negotiable. QB Desktop is currently being implemented.
- Strong understanding of double\-entry bookkeeping principles, general ledger reconciliation, and financial concepts.
- Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes, bank reconciliations, payroll administration, and tax preparation procedures.
- Ability to perform detailed account analysis and prepare comprehensive financial reports accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
