AidRx is a new and innovative system that provides dedicated, coordinated
care to the long\-term care community, specifically to patients residing in
their own homes.
We operate as an integrated healthcare model, combining an independent
LTC pharmacy, telehealth physician services (not open to the public), and
remote patient care coordination. As a growing ecosystem, we are
expanding nationwide, currently operating in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Our focus is on improving medication management, adherence, and overall
patient outcomes through coordinated, technology\-driven care.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for day\-to\-day pharmacy
operations including prescription processing, data entry, inventory control,
customer service, and assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications.
Our LTC closed\-door pharmacy services long\-term care patients residing in
their homes and is not open to the public.
This role requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and consistency, as
the technician supports patients who rely on timely and accurate medication
management.
Additionally, the Pharmacy Technician will assist in maintaining a well\-
organized, compliant, and efficient workspace, while coordinating
prescription deliveries with our drivers and supporting overall pharmacy
workflow
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prescription intake and accurate data entry into pharmacy systems
- Physician outreach for new prescriptions and refills, ensuring timely
- Counting, filling, and preparing prescriptions for pharmacist
- Picking and packing medications using the Parata system, ensuring
- Maintaining the Parata machine, including stocking trays and
- Inventory management, including ordering, organizing, cycle
- Maintaining proper and accurate pharmacy records, including
- Accepting payment for prescriptions and handling small
- Patient outreach for medication adherence, compliance, and basic
- Contacting insurance companies for patient eligibility verification,
- Following all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA,
- Supporting prescription delivery to patient homes as needed
- Other duties as assigned; job responsibilities may vary based on

- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (company vehicles are
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Certified pharmacy technician (PTCB or NCCT certification preferred)
- Solid understanding of pharmacy operations, workflows, and procedures
- Experience in prescription processing and accurate data entry
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (QS1/PrimeCare preferred)
- Experience using the Parata pharmacy automation system (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling prescriptions
- Excellent customer service skills, particularly when interacting with patients
- Ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced, high\-volume,
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem\-solving mindset with the ability to handle operational challenges
- Able to perform light physical lifting as required
- Reliable, consistent, and team\-oriented
- Bilingual is a plus (but not required)
- Ability to sit or stand for 6–8 hours per day
- Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching,
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Work environment consistent with standard pharmacy operations and workflow
- $20\.00 – $24\.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
