Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Oversee cash management activities, including forecasting, bank reconciliations, and liquidity monitoring.
- Support internal controls compliance, including SOX (Sarbanes\-Oxley Act) procedures and audit preparations.
- Conduct technical accounting research on complex transactions such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, and non\-profit or governmental accounting standards.
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to inform organizational planning.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and management summaries highlighting key insights for executive leadership.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms to streamline processes and improve data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross\-functional teams on regulatory reporting requirements and ensure adherence to GAAP standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles with a focus on financial management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards including GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, and governmental or non\-profit accounting frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting concepts such as double\-entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar tools; experience with financial software integration is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Strong understanding of cash flow management, payroll processing, budget development, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Qualifications
Pay: $39\.38 \- $47\.42 per hour
