Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our captive insurance programs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will assist with administrative tasks, documentation, and client communications while learning the fundamentals of captive insurance. No prior insurance experience is required—training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document organization
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of policies, contracts, and client information
  • Support compliance tracking and help prepare required documentation and reports
  • Assist with policy administration tasks such as renewals and document preparation
  • Respond to client and vendor inquiries via phone and email in a professional manner
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Track deadlines, renewals, and important dates
  • Assist with basic financial tasks such as invoicing and recordkeeping
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Perform other office duties as needed
  • Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the insurance field
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Prior administrative or office experience is helpful but not required
  • * Insurance experience is a plus, but not mandatory
