- Must be licensed by the State of California as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist
- BA or BS degree as required by California Law
- 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in an acute care licensed facility is preferred.

##### Job Summary and Qualifications
Performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of the procedures in one or more areas of the Clinical Laboratory.
Obtains specimens, prepares and/or maintains reagents and supplies, and calibrates and maintains equipment
Adheres to policies and procedures as directed by the Supervising Clinical Laboratory Scientist and Administrative Director
Clinical Laboratory Scientist may be assigned additional responsibilities as deemed appropriate by Administrative Director or by dictum of position
###### What qualifications you will need:
Riverside Community Hospital is a large acute care facility with 517 beds, established in 1901\. It has the most extensive Emergency Room and Level I Trauma Center in the Inland Empire region and is the primary recipient of STEMI (heart attack) cases in Riverside County. The hospital is accredited as a Chest Pain Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center and has a HeartCare Institute that offers both invasive and non\-invasive cardiac procedures.
