Job Summary
Bartlein \& Company, Inc., a professional property management firm in Santa Barbara, is seeking a full\-time Property Manager Assistant to support the daily administrative operations of a residential rental portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Assist Property Manager with daily operations
- Conduct move\-in and move\-out inspections (including multi\-level properties)
- Enter, track, and follow up on maintenance work orders
- Answer maintenance and repair calls; provide professional, solution\-oriented support
- Prepare emails, notices, and other written correspondence
- Build strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Post notices at properties as needed
- Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned
- 2\+ years of administrative office experience
- 2\+ years using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and data entry systems
- Valid California driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
- Comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (37\.5 hours/week)
- Occasional Saturdays (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.), approximately every 5–6 weeks
- Starting salary: $42,900 per year
- Compensation review after 90 days
