At Grit Property Group, our mission is simple: we maximize the investments of our owners, provide safe and welcoming homes for our residents, and cultivate a workplace where everyone feels valued and proud to do meaningful work. We don't just manage properties — we build long\-term relationships grounded in transparency, performance, and trust.

We're powered by a team that lives our values:

* Be a puppy – We're relentless and resourceful. "That's not my job" isn't in our vocabulary.

* Move fast, stay ready – We respond with urgency, stay flexible, and never let the ball drop.

* Provide objective expertise – We know Kansas City, and we guide owners and residents based on what works.

* Say it straight – We're clear, respectful, and transparent in all communication.

* Put people first – We build real relationships with our owners, residents, teammates, and community.

If that sounds like a team you want to be part of, we're hiring an Office Manager / Executive Assistant to help keep our office running smoothly and support leadership in a fast\-paced property management environment.

About the Role

The Office Manager/Executive Assistant is a highly organized, proactive, and dependable team member who helps keep the Grit office running efficiently day to day while also directly supporting company leadership. You'll be the first person residents, vendors, and visitors connect with — whether they're walking through our door, calling with a question, or scheduling a property tour. This role is the operational hub of the office — helping manage administrative flow, maintain organization, support property management functions, and ensure key systems, supplies, scheduling, and communication stay on track.

This person will also work closely with the Owner and leadership team on a variety of property management and administrative tasks, making this an excellent fit for someone who enjoys wearing many hats, staying organized, and stepping in wherever needed.

Because this role directly supports a busy property management operation, prior property management experience is required. We are looking for someone who understands the pace, moving pieces, and day\-to\-day demands of working in a property management environment.
