Johnny’s Markets is changing the way people think about convenience stores, and as a Recruiter, you’ll play a key role in developing the customer experience at our chain of 60\+ locations. With direction from our Human Resources Manager, you’ll ensure that stores are staffed with the best talent for our Johnny’s team.

What You'll Do

  • Manage full\-cycle recruiting for all positions across Johnny’s Markets and food service brands
  • Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system
  • Screen Resumes and coordinate interviews with hiring managers when requested
  • Ensure timely hiring to meet store staffing needs across multiple locations
  • Prioritize critical staffing needs for locations experiencing shortages.
  • Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system and a requisition workload of 50\-100\+ open positions at any given time
  • Responsible for updating and posting jobs in the applicant tracking system
  • Work with Area Managers and Store Managers to complete hiring and onboarding of new employees
  • Hold onsite interviews in each market and participate in local job fairs as needed
  • Assist employees with Human Resources related questions, interpret company policies, and explain benefits
  • Collaborate with other Department Leaders to ensure company Recruiting goals are being met
  • Work with internal marketing team to create recruiting materials, applicant communication templates, and online presence through the applicant tracking system
  • Analyze employee turnover and other recruiting data to aid in employee retention
  • Publish monthly blog to stores highlighting different HR and Recruiting relevant topics
  • Support operational safety awareness which may include basic safety walkthroughs of locations.

  • What You’ll Need

  • Proficiency in PrismHiring Applicant Tracking System preferred but not required.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to drive up to and exceed 200 miles per week.
  • Strong communication and relationship\-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple location requests and prioritize.
  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of experience in Human Resources or recruiting in a retail environment
  • Basic computer and software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and email).
  • Ability to bend, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and frequently carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Marketing experience and skills are a plus.
