Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and highly organized Executive Assistant to support the operations of a growing real estate and property management company. This role will work directly with the owner to help manage property\-related operations, maintain financial organization, and build systems that keep the business running smoothly.
The ideal candidate has experience in property management and basic accounting/bookkeeping, enjoys creating organization and structure, and takes initiative to improve processes.
This position will initially be based in a home office in Red Bluff, CA, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule (part in\-office, part remote) once systems and workflows are established.
Key ResponsibilitiesProperty Management Support
- Assist with day\-to\-day property management operations
- Track leases, renewals, tenant notices, and important deadlines
- Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repairs
- Maintain organized records for rental properties
- Assist with tenant communication when needed
- Help develop and document systems for property management processes
- Recording income and expenses
- Reconciling transactions
- Tracking vendor payments
- Maintain organized financial records
- Assist with preparing information for accountants and tax preparation
- Organize files, documents, and digital records
- Assist with project tracking and task management
- Help build systems and workflows to improve business operations
- Support real estate investment projects and general business operations
- Experience in property management, real estate, or rental operations
- Basic accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
- Property management software experience
- QuickBooks or bookkeeping software experience
- Administrative support for an executive or small business owner
