Job Summary

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and efficient Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The Medical Scribe will assist a busy Neurologist by accurately documenting patient encounters, ensuring comprehensive and precise medical records. This role is vital in enhancing clinical efficiency and supporting high\-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Prior experience in a medical office setting is highly desirable. Duties

  • Transcribe physician\-patient interactions accurately and efficiently during medical consultations.
  • Document detailed clinical notes using EMR/EHR systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Assist healthcare providers by managing and updating patient records, including medical history, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to ensure precise documentation of symptoms, procedures, and diagnoses.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Adapt to various clinical settings, including outpatient clinics and telemedicine, providing timely support as needed.
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience with transcription and medical documentation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and proficiency in typing with high accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical records management.
  • Previous experience working in a medical office environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with healthcare providers.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to fast\-paced clinical environments.
  • Certification or coursework related to medical transcription or health information management is a plus but not required. Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time

Pay: $14\.00 \- $15\.00 per hour
