Are you a Licensed EMDR Psychotherapist or Psychologist (LMFT, LMSW, LPC, PhD/PsyD), passionate about helping clients heal from trauma—without the burnout of insurance billing or endless admin tasks? Position Overview: The Licensed EMDR Psychotherapist/Supervisor (LMFT, LMSW, LPC, PhD/PsyD) will provide psychotherapy services to clients of Trauma Healing Therapy (THT), and will also provide EMDR clinical supervision to other clinicians on the team. Clinical therapy services will include treatment of individuals, couples, and families at this time. We are currently looking for a full\-time Licensed EMDR Psychotherapist/Supervisor in the State of California who is ready to be a part of a dynamic, kind, growing, and collaborative team. This position is in person in our Cupertino office. Completion of EMDRIA\-approved EMDR training is a MUST for this position, along with at least 3 years of post\-licensure clinical experience. Note: Trauma Healing Therapy (THT) is a completely out\-of\-network (OON) provider. As such, we are NOT accepting therapists who are paneled with private insurance (either directly or through third parties like Rula, Grow, etc.) at time of hire or who are opted into Medicare. Reports to: Dr. Mariella Lauriola, PhD About THT: At THT, it is our mission to help clients and the community heal from trauma and relationship wounds using two simple ingredients: evidence\-based clinical techniques AND an empathic, warm, humanistic approach to psychotherapy. Some Essential Functions and Responsibilities Schedule appointments with clients (individuals, couples/families) and provide remote clinical counseling services to clients of Trauma Healing Therapy in accordance with company policies. Experience working with minors is a plus! Provide 25 total clinical hours to THT, either to clients or supervision, with about 18–20 client therapy hours weekly and 1\-7 supervision hours (supervision hrs increase with time, therefore at first, therapist will need to be able to fill the 25 hrs with therapy services hours). Provide EMDR clinical supervision to other clinicians on the team, 1–7 supervision hours weekly. Respond to clients' requests for services or calls within 24\-36 hours during scheduled shifts, whether such requests are made via email, phone, voicemail, or through the THT website. Communicate with a client's treatment team (e.g., primary care provider, psychiatrist) as necessary. Available for 3 PM shift (2:15\-8pm) and 2 AM shifts (8am\-2pm), Monday\-Friday. Complete written records for each client, including intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, and other required documents, within 24\-48 hours of rendered therapy services. Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date client files. Attend mandatory weekly staff meetings, monthly meetings with Dr. Mariella Lauriola, and any required work\-related training. Run psychoeducational workshops in the community or psychotherapy groups as needed. Adhere to all practice and professional procedures. Not working in any other setting (we are only looking for committed, FT employees that value life\-work balance). Minimum Requirements: Must be in alignment with THT’s mission, vision, and values. Master degree (LMFT, LMSW, LPC) or doctorate level degree (PhD/PsyD) in psychology or a related field. Active, unrestricted license as a psychotherapist( licensed with CA BBS as LMFT, LMSW, LPC) or psychologist (PhD/PsyD registered with CA BOP) in the State of California. A copy of the license must be provided to THT, and the license must remain active throughout employment. Immediate notification to THT is required if the license is suspended, restricted, revoked, or canceled. At least 3 years of licensed experience providing psychotherapy services (preferred in private practice settings). Candidates with less experience will be considered only if fully licensed and with a strong clinical background. Candidate must possess supervisory requisites for their board (BBS or BOP) in order to supervise associate before they apply and need to show proof of supervisory credentials before the screening interview. EMDRIA\-approved EMDR basic training is required. Advanced EMDR training and prior EMDR supervisory/consultation experience highly preferred. Candidates with formal training on couples/family therapy modalities are also strongly prioritized/ encouraged to apply (i.e., EFT, Gottman Method). Adherence to all laws, rules, regulations, and ethical codes governing psychological practice in California. Reliable attendance, timely arrival, and commitment to maintaining a minimum 25 clinical hours (split between supervision and therapy services) per week (therapists have set clinical shifts and flex admin shifts outside clinical hours). Available for 3 PM shift (2:15\-8pm) and 2 AM shifts (8am\-2pm), Monday\-Friday. Superior verbal and written communication and organizational skills. Compassionate demeanor, strong work ethic, and ability to provide professional counseling services aligned with THT’s mission. High Proficiency in EHR, Google Workspace, and video conferencing platforms. Attention to detail is a must Ability to work independently and as a part of a team is a must.
