Position Overview The Development Operations Coordinator serves as the operational backbone of Hop On A Cure's development function. This role manages event logistics, CRM administration, donor services, and development reporting to ensure fundraising systems run efficiently and revenue is accurately tracked, acknowledged, and stewarded. The Coordinator works under the direction of the Senior Director of Development to maintain the infrastructure, systems, and workflows that enable relationship\-driven fundraising. This role focuses on execution, systems management, and operational support; it does not set revenue strategy, manage donor portfolios, or make independent decisions about prospect prioritization. Core Responsibilities 1\. Events Operations (40%) Coordinate logistics for all HOAC\-produced events, including Rock ALS and Harmony of Hope ● Manage 10 to 12 third\-party fundraising events annually, serving as primary point of contact for external fundraiser hosts ● Oversee sponsorship tracking, fulfillment, and deliverables across all events ● Track event budgets, revenue, and expenses with accurate financial reporting ● Manage event registration, attendee lists, and CRM data integration in NEON ● Coordinate volunteers, vendors, and onsite execution ● Maintain auction and raffle records where applicable ● Execute post\-event stewardship plans including sponsor and donor follow\-up ● Produce event performance reports including revenue, attendance, donor acquisition, and ROI ● Provide event toolkits, branding guidelines, and fundraising resources to third\-party hosts ● Ensure all third\-party events follow brand usage guidelines and financial transparency standards ● Flag high\-capacity supporters identified through events for introduction to Development leadership 2\. CRM Administration, Data, and Reporting (20%) ● Serve as in\-house NEON CRM administrator and systems expert ● Maintain CRM data integrity, hygiene, and governance standards ● Manage peer\-to\-peer fundraising tracking and reporting ● Run LYBUNT and lapsed donor list pulls and performance tracking ● Support campaign reporting, dashboards, and performance analysis ● Create donor segmentation lists for campaigns and stewardship ● Ensure grassroots and event donors are properly segmented within CRM for future cultivation 3\. Donor Services and Stewardship (20%) ● Prepare and send timely, accurate donor acknowledgment communications ● Manage donor inquiry responses and general donor support ● Support stewardship workflows including LYBUNT follow\-up and retention efforts ● Assist with donor communications for campaigns and appeals ● Support wealth screening coordination and prospect research inputs ● Maintain donor record consistency within NEON CRM ● Provide engagement touchpoints that encourage upgrade from one\-time to recurring supporter ● Maintain communication with Team Hop ambassadors and support recognition initiatives 4\. Development Operations and Reporting Support (20%) ● Maintain SOP documentation for development processes ● Support maintenance and coordination of the annual fundraising calendar ● Assist with prospect research and donor profiling support as directed by the Senior Director ● Provide administrative support to development leadership ● Prepare weekly or monthly development performance snapshots for leadership review ● Track follow\-up actions from meetings, events, and campaigns and ensure completion in NEON ● Maintain organized documentation for each campaign and event ● Support gift processing coordination with the Development team Qualifications Required ● 2 to 4 years of nonprofit development operations, event coordination, or fundraising support experience ● Demonstrated CRM administration experience (NEON CRM or comparable platform) ● Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent timelines ● Experience with event logistics, vendor coordination, and budget tracking ● Proficiency in data entry, reporting, and list management ● Strong written and verbal communication skills ● Mission alignment with ALS research and patient advocacy Preferred ● Experience with peer\-to\-peer fundraising platforms ● Familiarity with donor acknowledgment compliance and IRS requirements ● Experience producing dashboards or performance reports for leadership ● Comfort working with volunteers and community fundraising leaders What Success Looks Like In this role, success means HOAC's signature and third\-party events run smoothly and on budget, donor gifts are acknowledged promptly and accurately, and CRM records stay clean and reliable. A strong Coordinator keeps development systems, reporting, and follow\-up on track so that leadership can focus on building relationships and growing revenue.
