JOIN OUR TEAM AS A TECHNICAL ANALYST I \- END USER TECHNOLOGY This position is part of the Operations and Support Services team. The position is responsible for providing technical support for all end\-user technologies. It performs second level technical support for Pasco County’s production operations, creates and updates knowledge base articles, and images and deploys new equipment Essential Job Functions --------------------------- Provides hardware and software support for computers, cellular telephones, and network/telecommunications system infrastructure equipment which includes installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting problems. Maintains and reports repairs for infrastructure, hardware, and software and serves as point\-of\-contact with vendors to schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance on computer and peripheral equipment. Advises, trains, and assists customers on system operations and usage as required. Updates documentation manuals with new procedures and modifications to existing procedures as required. This position performs software installations and troubleshooting. This position also assists with endpoint protection and system monitoring. This position may be required to perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ----------------------------------- Ability to support software and productivity applications including MS 365, Adobe, and Team Calling. Ability to support User level OS for Windows 11 or higher. Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues related to desktop computers, laptops, and printers. Ability to provide remote support. Ability to follow established standards and make suggestions for improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in addition to exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Minimum Requirements ------------------------ PHYSICAL SKILLS: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 LBS. and also push or pull heavy objects. May use a handling device (dolly, cart, etc.) or work with another team member to lift and/or move excessively heavy objects. Ability to operate a keyboard. Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written and visual communication. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and two (2\) years of experience in development and maintenance of systems operations OR graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate degree and four (4\) years of experience in development and maintenance of systems operations and Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent technical certificate OR graduation from high school and six (6\) years of experience in supporting end user technology. LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid Florida driver's license. Active industry recognized technical certifications, that require recertification, may be considered in lieu of an Associate degree.
