The Role We are searching for an experienced Lead Designer to take ownership of full\-scale residential projects from concept through install. You will own the design vision and creative direction on every assigned project, lead clients through presentations and revisions, manage a project team (Junior Designer, Project Manager, Admin Coordinator), and partner with a Senior Technical Designer on drawings and construction documentation. This is a builder role. You will run your own projects, make your own decisions, and earn meaningful compensation through our profit\-share structure, designed to reward you for protecting margin, not just driving volume. What You'll Do Lead full\-service interior design projects start to finish: new construction, large\-scale renovation, and full home furnishings Own the design vision and creative direction on every assigned project Run client meetings, presentations, site visits, and walkthroughs independently Coordinate with architects, GCs, vendors, and tradespeople Manage your project team and mentor a Junior Designer Develop conceptual designs, mood boards, sourcing, and full design presentations Produce or oversee complete ID drawing sets Lead procurement coordination, install preparation, and on\-site install execution Hit project margin and profitability targets Compensation Detail Base Salary. $70,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience. What We're Looking For Required 5 to 8 years of interior design experience in high\-end residential Demonstrated experience leading new construction or large\-scale renovation projects start\-to\-finish Experience presenting independently to high\-end residential clients Experience managing a project team Proficient in SketchUp Proficient with Design Files or a similar project management program Able to produce a full ID drawing set independently Strong understanding of construction documentation and how to talk to a GC on site Florida\-based, or open to relocating to West Palm Beach Preferred NCIDQ certified or in progress Established relationships with high\-end vendors Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design Who Thrives Here Humble leader.
