Job Title: Executive Assistant to the Restaurant Owner Position Summary: We are looking for a highly organized, detail\-oriented, and tech\-savvy Executive Assistant to provide direct support to the owner of a busy restaurant. This role is a true “right\-hand” position that blends high\-level administrative support with hands\-on operational, event, marketing, and financial tasks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast\-paced hospitality environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and is excited to help the owner grow the business while keeping day\-to\-day operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Event Coordination: Book, plan, and coordinate in\-house group events, private parties, corporate functions, and special occasions (20–100\+ guests) Manage event inquiries, contracts, menus, floor plans, AV needs, and vendor coordination Serve as the main point of contact for clients before, during, and after events Ensure seamless event execution by communicating with kitchen, front\-of\-house, and service teams Marketing \& Social Media Support Assist with the restaurant’s social media marketing strategy (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Google Business Profile) Create, schedule, and post engaging content, stories, and reels Monitor engagement, respond to comments/DMs in a timely and brand\-appropriate manner Financial \& Inventory Management Support Process invoices, code expenses, and prepare payments Maintain accurate inventory records in QuickBooks (food, beverage, supplies, and smallwares) Conduct weekly/monthly inventory counts and reconcile with purchase orders Place and track supply orders with vendors Administrative \& Organizational Support Organize and maintain all physical and digital filing systems (contracts, permits, vendor files, HR documents, etc.) Handle general administrative tasks: calendar management, email correspondence Run errands and handle special projects at the owner’s direction Qualifications \& Requirements: 2\+ years of experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry Strong social media skills and comfort creating content (Canva, CapCut, or similar tools) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Data entry in QuickBooks and proficiency with Microsoft Office Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and proactively solve problems Flexible schedule – occasional evenings or weekends may be required for events Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and be comfortable in a restaurant environment Preferred Qualifications Experience planning and executing private events or catering Basic graphic design or video editing skills If you are a reliable, energetic professional who loves the restaurant world and wants to play a key role in its success, we’d love to hear from you!
