Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Property Manager specializing in multifamily residential properties to join our dynamic team. Duties Assist in managing daily property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination. Support property leasing activities by conducting tours, processing applications, and upselling available units. Maintain accurate data entry within property management systems such as Yardi and OneSite; ensure all records comply with Fair Housing regulations. Handle tenant inquiries professionally via phone and email, providing exceptional customer service and conflict resolution. Assist in lease preparation, renewal negotiations, and contract management while ensuring adherence to legal requirements such as landlord\-tenant law and Section 8 regulations. Support facilities management tasks including coordinating property maintenance requests and tracking service completion through CMMS or similar systems. Prepare filing systems for legal documents, contracts, and administrative records; manage legal administrative tasks related to LIHTC (Low\-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance. Contribute to the enforcement of Fair Housing laws and Section 8 program guidelines to promote an inclusive community environment. Participate in regular team meetings to review property performance metrics and identify opportunities for upselling or service improvements. Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and effective facilities management. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles; familiarity with multifamily housing preferred. Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord\-tenant law. Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms. Experience with legal contracts, negotiation skills, and conflict management techniques. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry, filing, and record keeping. Demonstrated customer service excellence with professional phone etiquette and relationship management abilities. Office experience including handling contracts, legal documentation, and administrative procedures. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure. * Knowledge of facilities management practices and basic maintenance coordination processes.
