The Accounting Assistant is responsible for providing general accounting assistance to the Accounting \& Finance department. This position assists with all accounting clerical duties including but not limited to reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies, general filing and data entry, maintaining digital and physical financial records, reconciling A/R settlements as needed and other administrative accounting duties. Additional special projects may be assigned by Controller or designated team members. Reporting Structure

The Accounting Assistant is a member of the Accounting \& Finance Team and reports to the Accounting and Finance Management Team. This position also partners with cross\-functional leaders and its members. Essential Functions \& Key Responsibilities

  • General accounting clerical and administrative duties.
  • Primary accounting cycles (A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets).
  • Prepare and maintain various reports, schedules, and reconciliations.
  • Perform special account research, analysis, and reconciliation projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications \& Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting required.
  • Minimum 1\+ years required experience in an office setting and/or relevant accounting work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite (must have working knowledge of Excel).
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to effectively handle a large number of transactions with strong attention to accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP, a plus.
  • Flexibility in schedule for overtime during month’s end.

The pay range for this full\-time position is $23\-$26 USD per hour. You will also be eligible to participate in BCP’s benefits program. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
