Environmental Administrative Assistant

- Process and maintain accounts payable in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepare, submit, and track Facility Profile Approvals.
- Create and process purchase orders and maintain supporting documentation.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and filing systems.
- Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned by the Facility Business Manager.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, vendors, and facility personnel.
- Support overall office operations while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative or accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and purchasing processes.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Professional attitude with a willingness to assist in a variety of administrative functions.
- Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary to meet business needs.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to approximately 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, get up and down repeatedly for extended periods.
- Work is performed in a combination of office and plant environments.
- Exposure to Non\-Hazardous environmental waste materials/odors.
- Typically, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Additional hours outside the standard schedule may be required to support administrative and operational needs.
- Errands to various local entities including but not limited to the Bank and Post Office.
- This position currently has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Management exercises the right to change this without notice.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional hours outside the standard schedule may be required to support administrative and operational needs.
### Position Summary
The Environmental Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and financial support to the facility by managing accounts payable, processing Facility Profile Approvals, and creating and tracking purchase orders. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment.
