Responsibilities
- Engage with customers via phone, email, or in person to address insurance\-related questions and provide tailored solutions
- Assist clients in selecting appropriate insurance policies by explaining coverage options clearly and effectively
- Process policy applications, renewals, cancellations, and updates with accuracy and attention to detail
- Conduct outbound telemarketing efforts to promote insurance products and generate new leads through outside sales techniques
- Negotiate terms with clients to meet their needs while aligning with company policies and regulations
- Maintain comprehensive sales administration records, including client interactions and transaction logs
- Collaborate with marketing teams to identify customer needs and support promotional campaigns
- Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for cross\-selling or upselling insurance products
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) when handling sensitive information
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive relationships
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales or telemarketing environments
- Negotiation skills to close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Expertise in sales administration, including documentation, follow\-up, and CRM management
- Analytical skills to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Knowledge of marketing strategies to promote products and attract new clients
- Benefits administration experience is a plus for understanding policy benefits and client needs
- Customer service excellence with a focus on building trust and long\-term relationships
