This role works closely with the Program Manager (PM) to implement program strategies, support recruitment and enrollment efforts, and ensure high\-quality program delivery. The Health Scholar Assistant plays a key role in maintaining effective communication, supporting Scholars and student leaders, and ensuring compliance with all program requirements and standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Strategy \& Execution
- Support the implementation of program strategies and designs developed by the Program Manager
- Assist in executing program plans for intensive experiences, including pre\-medical and international programs
- Collaborate closely with PM/RM/AVP to ensure alignment with program goals and timelines
- Maintain and track deliverables, milestones, and program outcomes
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including attending and representing the program at recruitment events, fairs, and campus outreach activities
- Present program overviews and respond to prospective applicant inquiries via phone and email
- Support enrollment processes, including application tracking, interview coordination, and onboarding
- Prepare recruitment and marketing materials in alignment with program strategy
- Ensure timely and professional communication with applicants and prospective scholars
- Support day\-to\-day program operations, including scheduling, space coordination, and logistics planning
- Assist in managing program documentation, trackers, and compliance records
- Ensure all scholar requirements (health records, background checks, onboarding materials) are complete and compliant
- Help coordinate intensive program logistics, including international program needs where applicable
- Support Salesforce tasks and maintain accurate data entry and reporting
- Assist in coordinating and facilitating training sessions, workshops, and program orientations
- Support delivery of educational content, skill sessions, and program activities
- Assist with administering assessments, evaluations, and training documentation
- Collaborate with leadership teams to ensure effective training execution
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and coordination of student leaders
- Assist in ensuring leaders are meeting program expectations and fulfilling responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to leadership teams in collaboration with PM/RM
- Help monitor leadership performance and ensure accountability for program requirements
- Ensure adherence to program policies, procedures, and compliance standards
- Assist with audits of Scholar files, records, and online platforms for accuracy and completeness
- Track and maintain documentation to meet organizational and partner requirements
- Identify and escalate any compliance concerns or operational issues
- Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with scholars, applicants, and leadership teams
- Serve as a point of contact for scholar questions, providing support in collaboration with the Program Manager
- Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels
- Escalate concerns or “red flag” situations appropriately
- Assist with scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and maintaining calendars
- Support execution of operational work plans set by the Program Manager
- Attend and participate in team meetings, including leadership and program meetings
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support program success
- Must be able to commit 20 hours per week
- Currently enrolled in or graduated from a college or university preferred
- Experience in or familiarity with the Health Scholar Program preferred
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment
- Detail\-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Customer service\-oriented with a high level of professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Salesforce experience preferred
- Flexible schedule, with availability for evenings, weekends, and recruitment events as needed
