    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

    Responsibilities

  • ### What you’ll do

  • Assist with surveys, data collection, and research to support administrative, fiscal, and budgetary analysis that informs operational and financial decisions.
  • Compile, calculate, and maintain statistical and financial data for annual budgets, expenditure tracking, purchasing requisitions, insurance claims, and related records to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  • Prepare drafts of operating orders, instruction studies, special reports, and public or administrative reports while maintaining confidential files and records.
  • Analyze administrative practices and make recommendations to improve planning, organization, and operational efficiency.
  • Help implement new programs, systems, procedures, and methods of operation, including assisting with the development of manuals and documentation.
  • Plan, assign, lead, and participate in large\-scale clerical programs, performing complex clerical work related to payroll, utilities billing, collections, permits, tax records, and other specialized functions.
  • Provide front desk support, including data entry, membership processing, book rentals, and cash handling, to ensure accurate transactions and positive customer service experiences.

The minimum education requirement for positions that allow for experience equivalency for an accredited degree is a high school diploma. Unless otherwise specified, an accredited degree must be obtained from a college or university listed with the U.S. Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.

###### For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained.

Successful completion of a pre\-employment criminal history/background check is required for all positions. Some positions require a post offer drug screen and/or physical.

If appointed, non\-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
