Job Responsibilities

- Utilizing an online grants management system for tracking expenditures and grant award modifications.
- Creating requisitions, shopping carts, and purchase orders.
- Reviewing and processing invoices for payment.
- Creating and maintaining Excel documents.
- Providing vendor registration assistance to applicants within the state electronic system.
- Providing technical assistance to interested parties completing grant forms.
- Drafting subaward agreements and amendments.
- Responding to phone and email inquiries from constituents.
- Verifying SAM.gov registrations/UEI numbers and state vendor information.
- Proofreading a variety of grant administration documents.
- Maintaining systems of organization, such as for electronic and physical files.
- Preparing and maintaining specialized records and reports.

- A bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years’ work experience in an administration type position or any equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, Finance, or Education.
- Experience with federal registration systems such as Grants.gov, SAM.gov, FFATA, etc.
- Experience with grants management software, and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and/or SC Enterprise Information System (SCEIS).
- Experience with federal grant management systems .
- Proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Suite, and /or Adobe Acrobat Pro.

- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work with discretion and confidentiality.
- Exceptional writing skills required, to include proofreading and attention to detail.

- Ability to sit at desk/computer for long periods of work.
