WHO YOU ARE:
The ideal candidate must be detail\-oriented, able to work in a fast\-paced environment and work in the Austin office Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Program Supervisor I\-II performs routine to moderately complex (journey\-level) administrative and supervisory program work. Works under moderate to general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:
- Supervise the work of assigned program staff and provides training and technical assistance in the program area.
- Prepare and review reports on the effectiveness of program activities.
- Confer with staff on program issues and problems to identify and implement solutions.
- Plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate programs.
- Assist in the development of program guidelines, procedures, and policies; and monitors compliance with policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of training and operational manuals, educational and marketing matter.
- May provide training or technical assistance in a program area.
- Perform related work as assigned.
- Program Supervisor I: Six months of full\-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
- Program Supervisor II: One year of full\-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
- Both Levels: Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
- Payday law experience.
- Experience in interpreting and enforcing laws, statutes, rules and procedures.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Personal computer skills, including Windows, Word, and Excel experience.
