This position is located at 101 E 15th St, Austin, Texas in the Division of Fraud Deterrence and Compliance.

WHO YOU ARE:

The ideal candidate must be detail\-oriented, able to work in a fast\-paced environment and work in the Austin office Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Program Supervisor I\-II performs routine to moderately complex (journey\-level) administrative and supervisory program work. Works under moderate to general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:

  • Supervise the work of assigned program staff and provides training and technical assistance in the program area.
  • Prepare and review reports on the effectiveness of program activities.
  • Confer with staff on program issues and problems to identify and implement solutions.
  • Plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate programs.
  • Assist in the development of program guidelines, procedures, and policies; and monitors compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of training and operational manuals, educational and marketing matter.
  • May provide training or technical assistance in a program area.
  • Perform related work as assigned.
  • YOU QUALIFY WITH:

  • Program Supervisor I: Six months of full\-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
  • Program Supervisor II: One year of full\-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
  • Both Levels: Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
  • YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH:

  • Payday law experience.
  • Experience in interpreting and enforcing laws, statutes, rules and procedures.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Personal computer skills, including Windows, Word, and Excel experience.
