The mission of the Department of Undergraduate Admissions is to achieve an optimal annual enrollment of new first\-year and transfer undergraduate students. Successful candidates will be staff members that can work with their colleagues to help meet the mission of the department of Admissions in serving and supporting our racially and ethnically diverse campus community.
Position Summary:
The Operations Specialist is responsible for the daily processing operations for the Undergraduate Admissions office.
This is a 12 month, AFSCME unit position and is subject to the terms of that unit agreement.
Tour of Duty: 8:45 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (Saturday and Sunday as days off). Occasional Saturdays required for admission events.
This position is located in Bridgewater, MA and may be eligible for a hybrid schedule in accordance with BSU remote work policy.

Essential Duties:
1\. Manage all duplicate detection in the CRM
2\. Quality control of the application for admission information
3\. Problem resolution of all applications for admission with errors working with Assistant Director
4\. Resolve all application for admission integration errors between CRM and SIS systems
5\. Help test new Banner/CRM upgrades in test environments for defects and report them to the Assistant Director
6\. Work with the Assistant Director of Admission Operations on new processes and procedures
7\. Help oversee document imports for data accuracy and record matching
8\. Help review files compiled by the Assistant Director for accuracy before distribution
9\. Help process applications for admission when able
10\. Provide phone and general email inbox support when able

- Applicants must have at least (A) two years of full\-time, or equivalent part\-time, experience in office management, office administration, business administration or business management, the major duties of which included one or more of the following functions: purchasing, personnel management, budgeting, accounting, records management, work simplification, grants management, contract administration or program management, (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.

Required Qualifications:
I. An Associates or higher degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for the required experience.
II. An Associates or higher degree with a major other than in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
