Now Hiring : Dental Hygienist \- Snow Hill

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our patients’ long\-term oral health, providing preventive care, and creating a positive, welcoming experience at every visit. You’ll work under general supervision from the dentist and collaborate closely with our clinical team to ensure exceptional patient care.

### Key Responsibilities

Daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Prepare, disinfect, and fully stock the treatment room for each appointment.
  • Update patient health histories, take blood pressure, and gather visit information.
  • Educate patients about their oral health needs, treatment options, and long\-term outcomes.
  • Provide Soft Tissue Management (STM) and customize home\-care plans for periodontal patients.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain clean, organized, and professional treatment and lab areas.
  • Document patient conditions, medical/dental histories, treatment notes, and patient feedback.
  • Perform hygiene treatment procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling, sealants, coronal polishing, and fluoride applications.
  • Manage and oversee non\-surgical periodontal therapy programs.
  • Expose digital radiographs.
  • Lead the preventive maintenance program and partner with the hygiene assistant on recall systems.
  • Maintain inventory control in hygiene rooms.
  • Sharpen and sterilize periodontal instruments.
  • Work independently with recurring and routine tasks.
  • Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety policies.
  • Support the office by helping earn 5\-star Google reviews through exceptional patient experiences.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • ### Job Requirements

  • Graduation from a two\- to four\-year accredited Dental Hygiene Program with CEU certifications.
  • Current state licensure in good standing.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to lift 15–20 lbs.
