General Manager – Integration
Integration Management Office \| Reports To: VP of Strategy \& Integrations \| Exempt \| Full\-Time \| Remote \| Up to 75% Travel
ROLE OVERVIEW
This role is not a typical corporate posting. The General Manager – Integration is a builder's role — designed for entrepreneurially\-minded operators who want to get in early at a high\-growth, PE\-backed roofing platform and grow with it. You will be deployed into newly acquired roofing businesses, work shoulder\-to\-shoulder with existing branch leadership, and lead the transformation of those operations into a high\-performing Alloy branch. The best people in this seat won't stay in it forever — they'll earn their way into permanent branch GM roles, and eventually, regional leadership. If you want to own something, this is how you get there.
In this role, you will partner with the branch team to instill Alloy's operating model across sales, production, technology, and reporting — driving the change management, team restructuring, and cultural alignment that turns an acquired business into a thriving Alloy branch. You will identify talent, close gaps, and build toward a model branch standard that scales across the platform.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The role is structured around Alloy's operating model. Here is what ownership looks like across each workstream:
1\. Leadership \& Team Development
- Partner with the existing branch leadership team from day one — building trust, assessing capabilities, and establishing clear expectations aligned to the Alloy operating standard
- Conduct a structured talent assessment within the first 30 days: identify high\-potential employees to develop, gaps to fill, and roles that require restructuring
- Lead the change management process — communicating the 'why' behind operational shifts, restructuring teams where needed, and moving individuals into defined model branch roles
- Develop branch leaders by coaching them on Alloy's management practices, reporting cadences, and accountability culture
- Partner with People Ops on org design recommendations, role changes, performance concerns, and new hire needs during the integration period
- Own sales performance from day one — review the branch's existing pipeline, close rate, average ticket, and revenue mix against Alloy benchmarks
- Implement Alloy's sales methodology: lead management process, follow\-up cadence, estimating standards, and close rate improvement levers
- Coach and develop the Sales Manager and sales staff on Alloy's pricing model, product offerings, and customer communication standards — serving as a change champion who builds confidence in new processes while holding the team accountable to Alloy's performance standards
- Ensure ServiceTitan is being used correctly for lead tracking, job creation, and sales reporting — and that the team is accountable to the data
- Work with Alloy's sales leadership to identify and close performance gaps; drive the branch toward target close rate and revenue per lead metrics within the integration window
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of additional sales staff where capacity gaps are identified
- Assess and restructure production operations to align with Alloy's model branch standard — crew structure, job scheduling, material procurement, and quality control
- Implement Alloy's production workflows in ServiceTitan: job dispatch, work order management, completion documentation, and customer sign\-off
- Drive gross margin improvement by identifying inefficiencies in labor utilization, material waste, and job costing — including the evaluation of subcontractor opportunities to optimize capacity and cost structure
- Establish accountability structures across the Sales and Production team — daily huddles, job completion tracking, punch list management, and callback reduction — championing the behavioral changes that drive a high\-performance branch culture
- Coordinate with the branch's production leadership to ensure jobs are running on schedule, on budget, and to Alloy's quality standards
- Identify and resolve any safety, licensing, or subcontractor compliance gaps in coordination with Alloy's operations leadership
- Lead the branch\-level adoption and daily use of ServiceTitan across all functions — scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, job costing, and reporting
- Partner with the ServiceTitan Implementation Manager to execute system migration from the branch's previous platform, ensuring data integrity and staff readiness at cutover
- Drive accountability to system usage: ensure all jobs are entered, all leads are tracked, and all financial data flows correctly through ServiceTitan into Alloy's reporting infrastructure
- Train and hold branch staff accountable to Alloy's technology standards — not just at go\-live, but through the full stabilization period
- Identify workflow gaps or system configuration issues and escalate to the ServiceTitan Implementation Manager for resolution
- Ensure the branch is producing accurate, timely operational reporting aligned to Alloy's KPI framework: revenue, gross margin, close rate, job cost, and production throughput
- Participate in weekly integration standups and structured leadership reviews; maintain accountability to milestone completion and performance metrics
- Escalate reporting anomalies, system discrepancies, or data quality issues to Finance and the Integration Project Manager
- Ensure the branch's customer\-facing presence — signage, digital listings, and local reputation — is transitioned to Alloy branding standards on schedule
- Coordinate with Alloy's marketing team on local market activation, review generation, and any branch\-specific campaigns post\-close
- Monitor lead volume and lead source mix; flag material changes in inbound lead flow to IMO leadership
- 5\+ years of operations or general management experience in roofing, construction, HVAC, or a comparable field\-based residential services business — you understand how these businesses run
- A genuine entrepreneurial orientation — you want to build something, not just manage it, and you're motivated by the opportunity to earn ownership of your own branch
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change: you've restructured teams, shifted culture, and held people accountable to a new standard — and you've done it in a way that earns respect
- Strong sales acumen — you can coach a sales team, read a pipeline, and drive close rate improvement from the front
- Hands\-on production management experience — you know how roofing or field service jobs should run and can identify inefficiencies quickly
- Proficiency with ServiceTitan or a comparable field service management platform; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- High comfort with travel and ambiguity — you thrive in new environments and treat every deployment as an opportunity, not a disruption
- Clear, confident communicator — equally effective on a roof with a crew foreman and in a weekly review with the CFO
- Prior branch GM or multi\-site operations leadership experience with P\&L ownership
- Experience at a PE\-backed platform company or in a post\-acquisition integration environment
- Familiarity with NetSuite, UKG, or comparable ERP/HRIS platforms in a field service context
- Track record of growing a branch or business unit — revenue growth, margin improvement, or team development outcomes you can speak to specifically
- Integration GM: Deploy into newly acquired branches, drive operational transformation, and build your Alloy operating playbook
- Branch General Manager: Transition into a permanent GM role at a stabilized branch — own the P\&L, lead the team, and grow the business
- Regional Leader: As the platform scales, high\-performing Branch GMs will have the opportunity to take on multi\-branch regional responsibility
- Primarily remote between deployments; up to 75% travel to acquired branch locations across the U.S.
- Work is performed across office environments, branch locations, and active job sites
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to navigate job site environments; ability to lift up to 50 lbs
